I just can’t figure out why people think it’s so difficult to find someone that they are attracted to. People email me all the time just to ask where they are going to find someone to date.
It’s not rocket science, we just make it seem that way. If I was only allowed to give you 2 steps to find a date, they would be this:
Figure out what you like to do . Do It!!!
Does that sound simple enough?
Again, I’m not trying to upset anyone, but it is unlikely that you will find a date by sitting in front of the TV. You have to find out who you are and what you like to do. Go do things that interest you and that you enjoy. If you like to cook, take a cooking class. Join a bowling league, golf league or soccer league.
If you have a dog, go to a park and walk you dog. You’ll not only find people who like to go for walks, but they also like dogs if they’re walking there’s too.
Once upon a time, I used to be against internet dating. And I still am, if you keep the dating to internet only. Join a dating site like Chemistry. com or some other site, and enter your profile. Be honest. Tell the prospective dates what you like, don’t like, hobbies, family, etc.
Then, after some emails and phone chats, set up a time and place to meet. The only way an online dating site will ever work is if you eventually move it offline.
The bottom line is this:
Everywhere you go is a great place to meet someone you can date!
You just have to pay attention to your surroundings. I once met a woman at the grocery store. I wasn’t even trying to meet anyone. The truth is, when you aren’t looking to pick up a guy or a girl, they most likely aren’t either. So there defense mechanisms aren’t prepared, and they’re less likely to shoot you down.
Take a little pride in yourself if you want to find a date. Make sure you look presentable, you’re smiling, and ready to meet and talk to new people. Confidence is attractive to the opposite sex.
The best dating advice you can get when it comes to where you should find your next date, is to pay attention and be ready. You can find a date anywhere you go!
